What is Arablish?

Arablish (also known as Arabizi or Franco-Arabic) is a blend of Arabic and English, widely used in everyday informal communication across the Arab world. It involves writing Arabic words and sentences using the Roman (English) alphabet rather than the Arabic script.

Unlike formal Arabic, Arablish does not follow strict spelling rules. It reflects how millions of bilingual Arabic speakers naturally communicate digitally in text messages, social media, and casual conversations.
